This planning format has been shared on some recent training to explore the process of ‘planning backwards’, and how guided group support might be employed as an effective teaching strategy.

This is just one example of what planning could look like though, as a training version, it is likely more detailed than necessary. It imagines alternative final writing outcomes for a WTS sentence construction group of pupils and SEND individual, and how these and children with other priorities might be supported in guided groups.
