  • This planning format has been shared on some recent training to explore the process of ‘planning backwards’, and how guided group support might be employed as an effective teaching strategy.

  • This is just one example of what planning could look like though, as a training version, it is likely more detailed than necessary. It imagines alternative final writing outcomes for a WTS sentence construction group of pupils and SEND individual, and how these and children with other priorities might be supported in guided groups.
