End of Key Stage Crib Sheets & Moderation Forms
We use these materials to help us with statutory moderation of English at the end of KS1 and KS2. They save us from having to get out our national curriculum to look up words, spelling patterns or anything else! You may find them useful as well, but there is no requirement or expectation that these resources are used by teachers.

STA Pupil Writing Collections
Each year, standardised pupil writing collections are produced for LA moderator training by the Standards and Testing Agency. These materials can support teachers in making their judgements when assessing children’s work at the end of Key Stages 1 and 2. There are useful accompanying commentaries, providing detailed explanations of why a collection meets a particular standard and what prevents it from having met the higher standard.
