We are The English Team
We’re a group of four independent English advisers, based in South West England, who work collaboratively as a team.
We were formerly the Devon Education Services English team and, before that, Babcock LDP English.
Working individually or as a team, we offer wide-ranging, bespoke support to individual schools, multi-academy trusts and federations across the range of the English curriculum. We work with all types of schools and educational organisations, including special school settings.
We offer training, consultancy, coaching and resources, tailored to meet the needs of each individual school. Bespoke support can be delivered either on-site or online.
We are all STA-accredited Lead Moderators - experts in reading and writing assessment across Key Stages 1-3.
